We are excited to announce the winners of the 2022 Wilkins-Roche Herdsman Scholarship, presented by the Mountain Lakes HERD Alumni Foundation. This scholarship was created to recognize the exceptional dedication of Coaches Doug Wilkins and Charlie Roche to instilling strong character in the young men who have participated in the Mountain Lakes High School “HERD” football program. Through their emphasis on integrity, courage, fortitude, honesty, and loyalty, they have made significant contributions to the education and growth of these student-athletes. The scholarship will be awarded to the Herdsmen who best embody these outstanding qualities of character.
This year’s scholarship recipients from the Mountain Lakes High School Class of 2023 are Ethan Merritt, Dylan Brown, Jimmy Elliott, and Nico Dunn (standing l-r next to Coach Charlie Roche in the photo above). Congratulations, gentlemen!
